PEX: The Future of Plumbing
PEX is an upcoming plumbing system made from high-density cross-linked polyethylene. It is a very flexible plastic that has grown in popularity over the last few years, replacing traditional copper, brass and galvanized steel for water supply pipes in new build, construction and renovation projects.
PEX is easy to install, allowing contractors to save time when repairing and replacing water lines.

The ELSON PEX Plumbing System
The Elson BUSHPEX Plumbing System is a complete PEX system with three main components, a flexible cross-linked high-density polyethylene pipe (BUSH PE-X Pipe) and solid DR brass fittings (pull-on, crimp-on, push-on types) and specialised tools to work on them.
To ensure all PEX pipe connections are watertight, one of three methods can be used – the BUSH Pull-On, BUSH Crimp-On and BUSH Push-On – using solid DR brass fittings.
These features allow for Elson’s Pex system to significantly reduce or completely eliminate water hammer.
Both the pipe and fittings are manufactured by Elson under strict quality controls and are fully compliant to Australian Standards.
